Cristiano Ronaldo may be telling Real Madrid that playing for them has always been his dream, but a former team-mate only remembers him being fascinated by Barcelona.
Eric Djemba-Djemba spent two seasons at Manchester United with the Portuguese star and is not convinced that he has always been such a big fan of Los Merengues.
During his presentation at the Bernabeu, Ronaldo spoke about how much he has always dreamt about pulling on the white shirt and playing for Real Madrid.
"Cristiano was more a fan of Barcelona then than Real Madrid," Djemba-Djemba was quoted as saying by The Sun.
Despite that, the 28-year-old defensive midfielder, who is now playing for Danish outfit Odense, thinks that Ronaldo will prove himself with the Spanish giants.
"Now he is in Madrid, he will win many trophies," he added.
